Satan and the Devils

As I've said once or twice, before starting Paradise Lost, I really did not know what to expect. I knew it had to do something with Satan but I did not know we'd meet lots of devils in the process. I want to take a second to talk about the devils' discussion. I see it kind of like a huddle in football to discuss the next play. Of course there is always one player who ALWAYS gets the glory *cough cough quarterback* and in this case that person is Satan.... the king of Hell and all the Devils.

If I had to choose a king of hell, it'd probably be Satan regardless though. This is because he's so manipulative that he can manipulate the other devils! I mean that's pretty impressive. Like others have mentioned, with their new plan, the human race doesn't really stand a chance against a guy like Satan. He almost beat God for crying out loud!

  1. I like the analogy you chose in describing Satan as the quarterback. Almost implies something inherently evil about organized sports which I find amusing. It is true though that Satan presents himself as being above all of the other devils and also seems to be more cunning and despicable. He has a little bit of a "god complex"... so to speak, which is likely influenced by the fact that he knows he comes close to rivaling God himself in power.

  2. Remember that guy? You know that guy. He’s walking around wearing black glasses. He has these shades like tinted windows of a black sedan. He has this stick that is white and red and he holds it out in front of him while he is walking on the sidewalk. Does he stop for the cars that are driving over the crosswalk? Does he get hit by a car? Does he want to be hit by a car? I think he is pretty suicidal, besides not seeing things leaves your life in everyone else’s hands. He will just end up dying because he has no control over his life. He cannot see. He walks into the pole with the light switches. He walks in front of a car. He gets hit by the car. He runs off a cliff. He has superpowers though like Daredevil who has ultra super sensitive hearing like his own form of sonar. He just feels vibrations and bounces those vibrations off of things in order to sense things out in a black abyss. He is constantly falling through nothing to the point where he is nothing and everything and nothing again. He feels lost and evil like he is dying young from abuse to his body of his own accord. He pictures himself as a red man with red horns and a pointed tail with an ace on it at the end. He has white teeth and a bright smile and can fly high in outer space with his senses that allow him to weave in and out all over the place finding hidden meanings all over the place. There are sentences within sentences like there are different wave lengths of sound or if he could see, light. There are commas all over the place and semi-colons all over the place. It is written like the Bible and is a Holy experience.
